We have two fully furnished self catering cottages located in Scotland. Both cottages provide an ideal base for exploring central Scotland and are available all year round.

The first cottage can be found near the village of Barrhill, in the region of Ayrshire & Arran. Relax and unwind in the peaceful, yet historic Ayrshire Countryside. Best known as the Birthplace of Robert Burns, Ayrshire also boasts being the birthplace of Open Golf and has a variety of links and parkland courses. The area is steeped in history and is home to the most visited castle in Scotland - Culzean Castle

second is located in the picturesque village of Auchencairn, www.auchencairn.org.uk
situated
on the Solway Coast and set within some of the most beautiful countryside
within Dumfries & Galloway.
For the walker, there is a rich variety of walks, along the coast, over hills and through forests. There are a variety of 9 hole & 18 hole golf courses at Colvend, Kirkcudbright, Castle Douglas, Southerness & Dumfries. Why not try a 3 or 5 day golf pass, available from the Tourist Office. The outdoor enthusiast can enjoy cycling through the Galloway Forest Park; horse riding at Barend or Brighouse Bay and watersports at the Galloway Sailing Centre & Loch Ken Marina. For a gentler break why not visit many of the National Trust properties, gardens & museums scattered throughout the area.
